Classic Sports Infra designed and installed three teak wood badminton courts in the indoor hall at Channawar E Mandir. The brief was a warm, durable hardwood surface that could handle daily club play and occasional tournaments.
What we built
- Moisture barrier and resilient sub-floor system on the existing concrete slab
- Kiln-dried teak hardwood strips, sanded in stages and sealed with a sports-grade polyurethane finish
- Badminton line marking for all three courts, with poles and nets
Why teak
Teak is naturally dense and oily, so it handles Indian humidity far better than softer timbers and gives players the grip and consistent bounce they expect. Read more on our wooden sports flooring page.
